自從黎礎寧唱了Jewel的Foolish Games後，我開始找尋Jewel的許多歌來聽，驚豔於她帶點歇斯底里、飽含感情的嗓音，她如詩般的創作。然後在you tube發現了這段她自彈自唱acoustic表演，愛上這首歌的詞曲組合，裡面不只混雜了她出道以來的惶惑與迷失，還帶有那告別青春期的淡淡哀愁，於是手癢了自己把它翻成中文。是的，There is a differece between dreamin and pretending，而成長不代表會失去作夢的能力，我像她一樣相信，在告別童話以後，真實或許如刀般銳利，卻不會完全扼殺夢想。
